CAMERON  VETERINARY

Cameron Veterinary Services was established in January of 2008 when restructuring of the Eldorado Animal Clinic eliminated the large animal practice. Dr. Andy Cameron practiced at the Eldorado Animal Clinic from February of 2002 until September 2009 and began the large animal portion of the practice in 2002. He continues to provide quality field medicine and surgery service to the clients that he has  been serving for the past 8 years.

Dr. Andy Cameron graduated from Colorado State University in 2000 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and began working in a mixed practice in Chino Valley, Arizona. In 2002, Andy returned to the Santa Fe, New Mexico area where he had worked in the architecture, design and construction fields before enrolling in veterinary school at Colorado State University.

 Dr. Cameron fosters good working relationships with referral facilities throughout the region, such as New Mexico Equine, Thal Equine, Los Lunas Animal Clinic and the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital to provide patients and clients with more in-depth, intensive medical care than can always be provided in the field.

Cameron Veterinary Services is pleased to provide mobile service to all of Santa Fe and surrounding areas.

Dr. Cameron treats all livestock and small animal species, with focus on horses and is one of the few veterinarians in the area with extensive experience on alpacas and llamas.

Appointments are available on a daily basis and emergency/ urgent care is available as needed.

Client education is just as important to me as patient care. Through this website and semi-annual newsletters I hope to provide you with useful reference information and up-to-date news that affects the health of your animals.
